Verizon and AWS expand edge computing to 19 US metro areas
Verizon and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have expanded their 5G mobile edge offering to two more US metro areas with the addition of Nashville, Tennessee and Tampa, Florida.
Combining Verizon 5G Edge with AWS Wavelength, the companies joint offering now spans 19 metro areas, meaning 75 percent of the US population are now within 150 miles of a Wavelength Zone.
