Lenovo adds Sunlight.io solutions to its offering in resale agreement

Multinational tech company Lenovo has signed a reseller agreement with edge infrastructure firm Sunlight.io to provide ‘Edge Computing-as-a-Service’ solutions using Sunlight products.

As part of the agreement, Lenovo will integrate its edge hardware devices with Sunlight.io’s HyperConverged edge-to-core stack and NexCenter infrastructure management platform.

Onteon Tech has launched its application management platform, Onteon, on edge infrastructure firm Sunlight.io’s AppLibrary.

The platform allows users to efficiently deploy and scale modern and legacy applications in edge locations.

Sunlight.io receives extra funding as it appoints new CEO

Edge infrastructure company Sunlight.io has added Valedor Partners to its Series A funding round, joining existing investors Robert Bosch Venture Capital and OpenOcean.

Valedor’s joining brings Sunlight’s total funding to $20 million (£16m) as it looks to strengthen its commercial growth in US markets.
