Fastly acquires developer platform Glitch to bring apps to the edge

Edge cloud platform provider Fastly has acquired Glitch, a developer platform for creating and sharing full-stack web apps with nearly two million active users.

Glitch will continue to operate under Fastly, with the acquisition focused on expanding the platform’s team as well as allowing Glitch apps to use Fastly’s edge computing services.
